A Black History Month Collaborative Event

Prior to Black History Month, a dear friend hit me up about creating an event with her and her team in the Goldsmiths Student Union. The theme she wanted to convey this time round during Black History Month was a theme of Joy and Resistance, a theme that is deliberatly ignored in the history books.

This project was a paid job where i managed to get the perfomers also paid for their time and talent. Usually i would have my set up to be a live event, however, with C-19 hovering in our minds and body, it had to be an online event. But not to worry, even though a new medium was used, hopefully in the future to come we can continue such events in the public as it is for the public to see and participate in.

These events are set up to showcase the talent next door to you. In addition to relaying the joy we feel when we all gather together under one umbrella, that umbrella being art with a tiny a.

All spaghetti live action events are on hold but this does not mean you cannot hit me up to secure a space to perform for the upcoming events. My email will be below so hit me up!
